DJI has prepared 2 new stabilizers for CES 2018 – the DJI Ronin-S and DJI Osmo Mobile 2. While Ronin-S is intended primarily for DSLRs, the Osmo Mobile 2 might be appealing to a wider variety of users, because it’s designed for smartphones.

DJI OSMO MOBILE 2 offers up to 15 hours of battery life

The all new DJI Osmo Mobile 2 will last for up to 15 hours on single charge, which is 3 times more than the previous Osmo Mobile. The built-in 18650 type battery has a capacity of 2600 mAh. The charging time is around two hours.

Button layout has also changed for the better – more ergonomic operation including zoom control. Overall dimensions are 295×113×72 mm and the weight is 485 g.

Smart features like Active Track, HyperLapse, MotionLapse and Timelapse are available as well.

For more information and video demonstration of all the features head over to the official DJI website. DJI Osmo Mobile 2 should be available for order during February. The price is yet to be announced. It shouldn’t t, however, be set too high, because the stabilizer can be currently preordered at Apple.com for 129$. This offer is not available in Europe though.
