Today, the DJI company has introduced the DJI Osmo Mobile stabilizer for smartphones at a fair. It’s a 3-axis gimbal which even handles the functions of DJI Phantom 4, using the app.

There’s no need to describe the functions of a gimbal. DJI Osmo Mobile is meant for shootage stabilization within three axis. But what makes the gimbal interesting is the app which is available for both Android and iOS. After downloading it, the phone pairs with the gimbal so the Active Track function can be used. This function is a part of DJI Phantom 4 and enables automatic tracking of an object chosen by you. You can read more about active track here. The manufacturer claims the battery life to be 4.5 hours.

DJI Osmo Mobile will be released in the basic version for 339€  and the packaging with a ground station for 349€.
