The upcoming Xiaomi camera was shortly shown online. As you can convince yourself in our review, the first camera made by this Chinese manufacturer did pretty well. If the leaked information about the second generation come true, we have something to look forward to.

The camera should be equipped with the Sony IMX377 sensor and the Ambarella A9 chipset – the same one the GoPro Hero 4 Black Edition uses. This combination results in 4K at 30fps, FullHD at 120fps and HD at 240fps recording options. The lens should be pretty fast at f/2.8 and consist of 7 elements. The addition of a 2,19” touchscreen with the resolution of 640 x 360 and the 330ppi pixel density is a pleasant surprise for many of us. Moreover, the screen will be protected by Gorilla Glass. You will be able to connect the Xiaomi YI 4K to the world using bluetooth or WiFi. The increase of the battery capacity to 1400mAh is another good news indeed. This means you should be able to record 4K video for up to 110 minutes.

If those speculations come true and Xiaomi won’t set the price too high, it seems like a pretty awesome offer.
